As the artist, I have absolute right over my work

I can post the artwork on any social media platform

I can use the artwork in my portfolio and future commission sheets

I may use my signature and watermark over the piece when posted

I have the right to decline a commission for any reason

I may edit the Terms of Service at any time, but commissions will follow the TOS at the time of creation

Commissions are only for PERSONAL USE; the client is not permitted to sell the artwork or produce products with the artwork on them under any circumstances

Clients are allowed to post their commission on any online platform given they give the appropriate credit to the artist - linking my user (n0ughtical.n0nsense) or profile

Clients may not pass my work off as their own

Clients are not permitted to trace, render, or alter the artwork in any way, including removing signatures/watermarks

Clients have NO RIGHT to sell/mint commissioned work for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT)/blockchain-based item, nor use commissions to train/generate AI images

All payments are accepted in USD

Payments must be made upfront

Payments 50% upfront can be negotiated if price exceeds $70

I do NOT accept cryptocurrency - if paid in crypto it will be refunded immediately. Clients will have a chance to pay with USD, but if they pay in crypto again, the commission will be canceled entirely and the user will be blocked.

Clients can cancel a commission within valid reason, however, depending on the state of the piece at that point, the refund amount will be subtracted from the work done before the cancellation.

If, for whatever reason, I decide to cancel the commission, I will give a full refund

The amount of time it takes to finish a work depends entirely on the type of commission and the contents of said commission, so discussions of deadlines will vary by client

If there is no established deadline on a commission, then general work time will range from a few days to about a month

More complex commissions will likely take about a month or even longer, so checking in is encouraged

Commissions with established deadlines will be prioritized work wise

PLEASE DO NOT RUSH ME. Deadlines or not, I will adhere to the turnaround time as described, messaging me to get the piece done does nothing to speed up the process.

Finished commissions will be shown to the client prior to delivery

Final delivery will be done through email to preserve the quality of the artwork

No watermarks (unless asked)

Commissions will be open with a limited availability of 5 slots

Commissions will remain open until all slots are full, even as comms are being worked on

Commissions will close once all slots are filled

Commissions will remain closed until all 5 commissions are complete (to avoid overlapping work and burn out)

The time it takes to complete each commission will vary on what types of work the client asks for, which will affect the amount of time that availability will be closed

Anyone interested in commissioning after the all slots are filled will simply have to wait until they become available

Because of the new system, I cannot afford to prioritize specific commissioners at the moment. To give everyone a fair chance, slots will reopen when ready, to anyone who wants to commission a piece.

While clients are free to check in at any point of the process, please do so sparingly. Messaging me constantly will not affect the speed of the process.

I will provide updates on the work, primarily on the initial stages (thumbnails, sketch) for any changes. Any *stages beyond that will be notified to the client
